  4. Hi, Tane! I have a question, what types of animals do you have were you live?

    1. Well, we have cats, dogs, horses, birds...all the normal pets, but if you're talking about wild animals, there's wild dogs (e.g. Hyenas, Jackals), big cats (such as the Leopard and the Lion), Hippopotamuses, Rhinoceroses, Elephants and Buffaloes. :) Of course, that's not all of them.

    2. Thanks. That's really cool! Have you ever seen a wild Hyena? I would like to see more of where you live, you should post photos of your home! Oh, did your family always live in South Africa?

    3. No, I haven't seen a Hyena. But I have seen Lions, Hippos, Rhinos and Elephants. :D Yup, we've always lived in South Africa, I was born in South africa, all of my siblings (except for Jacob and Johnny, they were born in Lesotho) and my parents were born in South Africa. (so were their parents! all of my relitaves that I know were born in South Africa)We live in boring Bloemfontein, so there aren't many wild animals and not much veld. Maybe I should post pics of our home...but it's very messy!

    4. P.S. The animals I told you about live in Africa and South Africa, but not in the small city we live in. We also have a farm that is more exposed to wild animals...there are Meerkats and Jackals there, but we don't have any on the big animals I told you about on our farm.

    1. Haha, no, we aren't missionaries. :) We are just a normal South African family that loves God.

    2. That is still so neat! You get to see the animals that people pay money to see in your backyard. :D

    3. Haha, actually we live in a small city, there aren't any of those animals there. We used to live in Clarens and sometimes when we traveled we saw a few lions in the veld. We have moved around South Africa...from Durban to Kloof to Pretoria to Clarens and to Bloem.

    4. We've seen animals on farms and wildlife enclosures. In wildlife enclosures there aren't only all the animals I told you about but there are also Tigers. :) I got to touch a cub Tiger the once, before he realized what was going on. He and the Jack Russel there are best friends, though when they play the dog always loses. ;)
