my two latest photo projects...and a verse

Hello everyone! I have got into photography and Photoshop editing lately, so here are a few of my results! :)

^Dirty faced Reilly holding a rose! (I had to BEG him to just let me get ONE photo! Lol ;)

Hmm, that one not so good...but at least Mom, Levi and Mila are all looking beautiful, as always. :)

To close this post, I'd like to finish of with my verse for the week:
James 4:11 - Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the but a judge.

Grace's cinnamon, peanut-butter & banana smoothie

Hello everyone! My younger sister, Grace (8), hasn't ever entered Heidi Mari's Fortnightly Baking Fun Challenge, but now she made a delicious smoothie for the Baking Challenge # 12! She is very excited! :) But anyway, I'm posting it on my blog since she doesn't have a blog or email account. Is that fine with you, Heidi?
Let's get started on the recipe now...

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 banana
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon for decoration

Method:

1. Blitz all the ingredients together with a hand blender until blended thoroughly.
2. Pour the smoothie into a glass.
3. Take a piece of card and cut a small heart in it and then put it on top of the glass. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top of the cut out heart. Take away the card to reveal a cinnamon heart. (the cinnamon plays quite a big role in this smoothie, it really tastes great)
4. Slit a slice of banana down the middle (not all the way) and stick it on the rim of the glass. Wala! You have created something that not only looks good, but tastes great too! :)

Yum!

Oh, and one more thing, the verse for this week is: Isaiah chapter 26 verse 4: Trust ye in the LORD for ever;  for in the LORD is everlasting strength.
Better believe that verse, cos it's true!

♥two B&W photos♥

First, I would like to start the blog post off by sharing another verse for the week:
"For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body," - James chapter 3 verse 2.

So, next, I have a couple of black and white photos to share with you! :)

^My Nana and Oupa with Levi.

^Me with Levi. :)

We are all enjoying our little brother so much!

my bible verse for this week

Week 2 of the 52 verses/52 weeks, and the verse for this week is...
Isaiah Chapter 46 Verse 4
"Even to your old age, I am He, and even to grey hairs I will carry you! I have made and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you,"
A beautiful verse that the book of Isaiah shows us here. My Mom says it's one of her personal favourites. :) Enjoy your week and may God bless you

fun at our farm

Hi all! My family and I went to our farm for a couple of days after Christmas, and we got some beautiful pics.

^Little Levi in the hands of his older brothers... (Levi: "I know... They're just crazy over me. I mean, who couldn't be?")

Yeah, that's right! Punch some suckers! :) Or... Just give a simple thumbs up with your Dad's boxing gloves on.

There are at least 17 cows at our farm. Daniel, the farm hand, owns them all... ;) The calf in the picture is named Charlie... Actually, Grace and I named them all. Here are the cow's names, and a small description of them:

1.Mama Tara: A very beautiful brown and white female cow.
2.Moo: A noisy, but cute black and white male calf.
3.Sage: A cream colored cow with small horns and a ring through his nose.
4.Dude: A dark, brown male calf who has a small patch of white on top of his head.
5.Mama Calico: A calico female cow, who is Dude's mother.
6.Charlie: A friendly, cream colored male calf.
7.Choco: A darkish but golden brown, shy male calf.
8.Brownie: A chocolate brown, pretty female cow.
9.Horns: A scary and big brown, male, bull, who seems to be the top bull.
10.Betzy: A big, greyish cream coloured gentle female cow.
11.Floppy: A floppy eared, playful looking male calf.
12.Mama Eve: A completely black and grumpy female cow.
13.Super Mama: A very strong, sturdy brown and white female cow. She also has horns.
14.Bobbie: A plain, smallish female cow who doesn't play a big part in the herd.
15.Milo: A good looking cream coloured male calf with a patch of brown on his head.
16.Mama Midnight: A beautiful, black and white female cow with horns.
17.Boogle: Another plain cow. He's a normal brown male bull, not too big.

I've got some more news, actually. My brother, Johnny finally got what he wanted! & iPod Touch, which he saved up for. :) But, I've also got bad news. Our dog had to be put down because she couldn't stand us giving the other dogs attention and whenever we did, she would bite them. She really hurt our oldest dog and it had to get stitches. :(

That's all for now.

happy New Year

Hi all, and happy new year! :) (Sorry that I'm late to wish you all a happy new year) I hope that God is with you throughout 2012, and I also hope that you will get what you want to get done.  I have joined the 52 Weeks/52 Verses Challenge...I hope to make it through. Might not.

But I forgot to put my first verse on my blog yesterday! Well, I guess I'll have to put it on today. :) So, my verse for this week is...
"All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord, and to those who are called according to Him" -Romans chapter 8 verse 28.
Remember that verse throughout the whole year. :) And also remember, that means ALL things! :) Including losing your keys...See how generous God is!
I'd like to share with you a little something that God did for us on a shopping trip... (not that it has much to do with Romans 8:28. Oh yes, and don't worry, it's short!) It was a Saturday and we decided to go shopping. So we rounded up the little ones and we were off. Once we had arrived at our destination, we all climbed out of the car. It was only then that Mom realized she had left the house keys on top of the car roof and had left them there. We assumed that they had fallen off, and we were hoping that they hadn't fallen off far from home. "Surely you have something in plan," I said to God. I then convinced myself that he had done something to save those keys. And yes, He did have something in plan. My Nana was unstrapping Levi from his car seat when I spotted our house keys. Amazing! They were still on the roof! But that is so minute compared to all the other amazing things God can do. Trust in Him.
God bless you and your loved ones.
