Hi all, and happy new year! :) (Sorry that I'm late to wish you all a happy new year) I hope that God is with you throughout 2012, and I also hope that you will get what you want to get done. I have joined the 52 Weeks/52 Verses Challenge...I hope to make it through. Might not.
But I forgot to put my first verse on my blog yesterday! Well, I guess I'll have to put it on today. :) So, my verse for this week is...
"All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord, and to those who are called according to Him" -Romans chapter 8 verse 28.
Remember that verse throughout the whole year. :) And also remember, that means ALL things! :) Including losing your keys...See how generous God is!
I'd like to share with you a little something that God did for us on a shopping trip... (not that it has much to do with Romans 8:28. Oh yes, and don't worry, it's short!) It was a Saturday and we decided to go shopping. So we rounded up the little ones and we were off. Once we had arrived at our destination, we all climbed out of the car. It was only then that Mom realized she had left the house keys on top of the car roof and had left them there. We assumed that they had fallen off, and we were hoping that they hadn't fallen off far from home. "Surely you have something in plan," I said to God. I then convinced myself that he had done something to save those keys. And yes, He did have something in plan. My Nana was unstrapping Levi from his car seat when I spotted our house keys. Amazing! They were still on the roof! But that is so minute compared to all the other amazing things God can do. Trust in Him.
God bless you and your loved ones.

ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for sharing your story about finding your house keys. Life is filled with miracles- they may seem small, but they are *great* in that God reveals his presence (even in little things) :)
WOW that is so lucky!
ReplyDeleteMay god bless you even more!
