Hello there. I'm so happy you're here. :)
I'm the girl who is behind this blog...my name is Tane.
I suppose I'm a bit crazy, and I sometimes laugh at inappropriate times, but the only thing that really matters about me, is that I am not my own. I belong to Jesus Christ and I love Him so much.
Since you're here- there are the other things about me...
I have nine siblings and two wonderful parents. I come fifth out of ten in my siblings and I, hence my blog's title. I live for my awesome God. I really adore Jesus, who died for me.
I write. Poetry. I love to write poetry. Sometimes children's stories. Or I write about how I feel...the words just come and just keep flowing until they're done. I take photos. I love being a photographer. Often you can find me with a Cannon 500D or 600D hanging from my neck. I draw. I draw characters, and animals, and things I see in real life. I draw lots of doodled patterns.
I have way too many notebooks.
My internet nickname is Tangerine-Tane.
I'm someone who likes to scrapbook once in a long while, swim whenever she can, bake and always lick the bowl out, play tennis when she feels like it, paint even when she's not that good at it, create things, just things, and enjoys her brothers' and sisters' company. My family are people I'm so thankful to have in my life. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have them.
I love reading. I love, love, love to read.
No, wait, I'm not done. I seriously, really love a good book.
I'm home schooled and I wouldn't want it any other way. I listen to only my very favorite music, I eat chocolate, I'm a Pinterest addict, I dislike coffee (sorry, all you coffee lovers!) although I like coffee flavored things, I'm attracted to vintage & simple, inspiring things, I'm a perfectionist (which can sometimes be a pain) and I get obsessed about random things.
I really enjoy people-watching.This world is so, so amazing to me - and I am awed when I think that my God made all of this just by speaking.
I've lived in South Africa all my life and now I currently live in a city called Somerset-West. My country is an amazing place with great weather and surroundings.
I love animals. I love to watch them, learn their habits; to have them around the place and give them lots of affection.
I'm just a girl in this world, but I know that I'm God's girl, and I have nothing to be afraid of because He is with me.
And there's really just one thing you need to know above everything else.
I live for my God and I believe in Him and love Him with all my heart. He saved me.
"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." - Thessalonians 1:16-18
Thanks for visiting my blog...you have just made my day prettier, whether or not I have no clue you've been here - and I hope you've enjoyed listening to me blabber in this Times font about myself. Don't blame you if you haven't.
Keep shining bright.
Oh, and, congratulations on getting this far. I know I've typed up way too much on this page...so, congrats for reading it all.
She was a dreamer...it said so in her eyes. With a small sigh, she closed her notebook, where she had been writing her thoughts onto the old, musky paper. It was a lovely book, with a navy leather cover and silver leaves that had been engraved into it. Though the bind was falling apart from being kept and used for so long, she still treasured it. One of her curls fell across her face and she pulled it back. She looked toward the horizon, with the sun setting below the sea, and sighed again. Sometimes the world was so beautiful it ached.
