worth it

There is something so peaceful about looking at a picture like this and wondering what might be coming your way

^ Image via Pinterest. NOT MY OWN.

I stood on the railroad, turning my head from right to left again and again. Both ways the track looked like it went on forever...a never-ending hard, long, bumpy journey. And the grey, dull clouds covering the sky to make it worse. Just like my life seemed at the moment. I didn't know how I was going to make it. I couldn't make it.

You can make it...

What's the point of it all, if it goes on anyway, and I can't see the end?

Push away the negative thoughts. Like they say, life isn't about waiting for the storm to end, it's about learning to dance in the rain. It'll be worth it in the end, and God is with you all the way.
It may look hopeless. It may give you the urge to say no way.
But just think about something for a moment. Who is someone special in your life? Someone who you admire? Someone who you think has a beautiful soul?
Now think about this. They are also dealing with the ups and downs of life. They also have things that bother or hurt them. But they still manage to shed some light on other peoples' lives.
When Jesus was on the cross, He still turned to the person next to Him, and let the guy know that he was going to join Him in paradise.
Even when you're going through your darkest moments, try to be a comfort to others, and cut down on the complaints. Because in the end of it all, it will be worth it. Encourage others to see that as well. And keep telling yourself...

Okay. It's alright. I know now. It'll be worth it.

  2. Wow...this is really powerful...something I wish I could show a lot of my dear friends.
The storm is worth it, yes. God has a purpose for the pain, and its going to be beautiful in the end! I am living proof that God uses pain for a beautiful plan and purpose! Thank you for this reminder, it was much needed, and I think I'm going to send a few of my friends to this post for encouragement. Thanks for sharing!
